Panic attacks

A panic attack is a sudden intense wave of fear or anxiety that hits without warning. You might feel your heart racing, sweat pouring, or even shortness of breath. It’s common to experience a sense of impending doom, like something terrible is about to happen.

These reactions are your body’s “fight or flight” response going into overdrive. While they’re not life-threatening, they can be really scary. Understanding they won’t hurt you physically can help in managing them.
